Darya Khan Abro

Description: The tomb of Darya Khan Abro is located about 0.06 km south of Larkana- Gerello road in village Gerello. Darya Khan was the chief of Abro clan and was a commander during the Mughal Empire; he was killed in the battle which was fought with Sarai Faqiran during the period of Din Muhammad Kalhoro (1692-1700). The tomb of Darya Khan Abro is square in shape, it is constructed with two sizes of burnt bricks with mud and cheroli as mortar, lime with jute are used in plaster of arches drum and dome. The facade of the tomb is on the eastern side with a large Tudor arch in the center with a semi-circular arched entrance with a wooden door within it. Above the entrance, there is a rectangular panel and Tudor arch shaped ventilator. On either sides and above the main arch, there are recessed rectangular panels.
