Mureed Jamali Graveyard

Description: The graveyard of Mureed Jamali is located at a distance of about 5 km to the west of Hairo Khan village and about 1 km south of village Mureed Dero, it can be accessed via Hairo Khan earthen track towards Mureed Dero. The graveyard consists of four structures (one tomb and three canopies) one of the canopies belongs to Mureed Jamali and some old and recent graves are scattered around these structures. Mureed Jamali was known to be the commander of the Mianwal Movement during the reign of Mian Naseer Muhammad Kalhoro (1657-1692CE). He lived in the village Mureed Dero and was buried in Mureed Jamali graveyard, since then the graveyard is known as Mureed Jamali graveyard (Kalhora Period).
