Description: Halu -jo- Daro is located in village Saindad Khoso near Dost Ali pull, it can be accessed from Qamber-Shahdadkot link road to Halu-jo-Daro. The Archaeological site of Halu -jo- Daro is a small sized mound. Its measurements are 60 m in length, 53 m in breadth and height is 2.7 m from surrounding. The local people mentioned the site to have been once a rich site, but its present condition does not portray any such evidence, some cultural material was found by villagers. Cultural material included complete parts of terracotta quern and pieces of stone grinder and one potsherd. Some traces of structural evidences of burnt bricks were present on the mound. The site due to presence of limited cultural material was not identified but the material with the villagers renders it to be Islamic period site dated between 12-18th century CE.
