Description: The site Othian Jo Daro is situated on Badin-Hyderabad main road, near village Peeru Lashari Taluka Talhar, District Badin. The site of Othian-Jo-Daro is in a ruinous condition. This mound is situated on main Hyderabad-Badin Road, which cuts the mound into two parts from the center. There are some burnt bricks structures visible on the surface of the mound. The western side of the mound is occupied by modern graves and debris of ancient structures. Cultural material was scattered on the site in a very fragile and damaged condition. During the present survey fragile potshards were scattered on the surface of the mound along with burnt bricks and some evidence of ancient structures. Due to the construction of Hyderabad Badin Road most of the evidence has been lost and destroyed.
