Description: The Rarri mound is a very large site, the mound measures 404 m in length; about 333 m in breadth and its elevation is 2.1 m from surrounding. The cultural material scattered on the site belonged to the Islamic period. There were traces of burnt brick structural remains on the mound. The cultural material on the surface included: plain, painted black on red ware, glazed pottery, black and incised pottery, terracotta boat, quern, terracotta coin mold, smoker pipe, terracotta oil lamps, iron pieces, copper pieces, red stones, glass, pieces of fine China ceramic, bricks and brick bats.
