Pardin-jo-Daro

Description: Pardin-jo-Daro is located about 09 km north of Tarai town, it can be accessed from Tarai town via canal path towards Haji Muhammad Hassan Junejo village and onwards to the site. Pardin-jo-Daro is a large site, measuring approximately 278 m in length, 1356 m in breadth and about 1.8 m high from the surrounding cultivated area. The cultural material scattered over the site clearly belongs to the Islamic period, it includes: plain, painted black on red ware, glazed pottery, terracotta quern, terracotta complete toy boat, sandstone grinder and miniature copper coins. Painting in black on red in various designs on the rim of the pots is commonly found in the sites of Islamic period along with glazed pottery.
