Description: Khud Khan daro is located approximately 05 km west of Tarai town. It can be accessed from Tarai link road via earthen track to Samo Otho village and onwards to Khud Khan mound. Hud Khan Daro is a large site, its measurements are 57.3 m in length, 34.2 m in breadth and about 2.3 m high from the surrounding cultivated area. The cultural material is sparsely scattered over the mound which clearly belongs to the Islamic period, it includes: plain, painted black on red ware, glazed pottery, black ware with incised design, terracotta quern, shell, iron nails and sandstone. Painting in black on red in various designs is commonly found in the sites of Islamic period along with glazed pottery.
