Description
The“Pushkalavati Museums of Archaeology and Ethnology”, has been built in 2006. Is also known as Charsada Museum. This museum exhibits the very well history of the area from the Gandhara period. It carries the artifacts mainly from the Gandhara period and from its round abouts. The pushkalavati was an important city and the excavations conducted here had produced a lot of artifacts most of which are displayed here. The many of the Buddha’s ornaments here are represented which included the stucco heads the stupas and many other artifacts like that.
