Tibba Mound (Kala Shah Kaku)

Description


An archaeological site spread over an area of 183m across with an average height of 11m above the surrounding level. The eastern half of the mound and top is now occupied by modern graves. The potsherds collected from the surface is of red-ware and includes stamped potsherds comparable in designs with those found in 5th, 6th century CE level at Tulamba, district Multan close to the north-western edge of the mound is small mound covered with ashes and potsherds silages which seem to represent a potsherds kiln.
