Description
This Kalhora period (18th Century CE) mausoleum is said to have been erected by Ghulam Shah Kalhoro in 1774 CE in memory of Shah Baharo, military commander under Nur Mohammad Kalhora who had died in 1735. This huge monument was raised on a high platform and is crowned with a segmental dome surmounted by a decoration lantern. It was built with burnt bricks and finished with pucca qalai or glazed choona plaster. It is octagonal in shape and overlaid with enameled tiles.
