Description: This massive Khanqah is built on a raised stone platform on the highest point of Kharkoo, which is a village on the right bank of the Shyok River. The Khanqah consists of a main prayer hall with a verandah on all four sides. It is built with a traditional cribbage and cator technique, using stone, timber and mud.
