Kirmin Shabaran (Polo Ground)

Description: The Kirmin Polo Ground is situated on the western end of the Kirmin settlement of the Chapursan valley. This specific polo ground was used by the Mirs of Hunza during their annual visit to this part of the state. The polo ground (168 m long; 24.3 wide) is situated on a low -lying patch of land. Its sunken location makes it an ideal place to view ongoing activities in the ground from the upper terraces. The only visible historic remnant of this polo ground is a retaining wall built with small and round stone boulders on its north -eastern boundary.
