Description: The Risht Polo Ground is situated in the middle of the Risht village, a major stopover for the Mirs of Hunza as they made pilgrimage to the tomb of Baba Ghundi in Ziarat, Chupursan. As a way of facilitating these Mirs, Raja Safdar Ali Khan built a small palace and a polo ground in the village. The Reshit polo ground stretches from east to west, about 183 m long and 13.7 m wide, and is very well -maintained. This is the only ground in Hunza where the tradition of polo is still alive, and it is often used to host matches during the summers.
