Stupa Site, Pind Trare

Description: This site is located about 12 km south of Attock city and about 600 m south-east of Kawa village on the eastern side of the Kawa-Pind Trare metaled road a little outside the modern village of Kawagarh in the middle of cultivate fields. The site is badly disturbed due to illegal diggings by treasure hunters. They have exposed two chambers of a monastery on northern side and a stupa wall on southern side. Fragments of stucco are also found along with potshards.
