Mand Karo Wooden House No.5

Description: The house is erected on a stone platform of 1.5 m high. It is double story, buildup with wood and stone structure. This house is divided into three parts; the lower ground has four rooms, with gallery (portico) on back used for human living purpose and a kitchen with two hearths. This floor is made up of thick wooden planks to protect from the cooled come inside the room. The doors and windows of the house are made of deodar wood. The windows are provided inside the house. Staircases has provided on the first story. The upper (first story) is the same in size and plan as ground floor. This upper part has also four rooms with a gallery (portico) on back used for living purpose and kitchen. This floor is made up of thick wooden planks of deodar.
