Description: Govt. Central Model School is one of the Historical Institution in Punjab. It was established in 1883. It was started as a Middle School in the building of Anarkali Girls High School. The present building of the school was constructed in 1887. The school was upgraded as a High School and shifted from Anarkali Girls High School to its present building in 1888. The Junior Wing was started in 1944. The school has a unique building which was included in the list of National Heritage of Pakistan.
