Federal Minister for National Heritage & Culture, Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, chaired a meeting with senior officials of the Department of Archaeology & Museums (DoAM), Islamabad to review the progress of ongoing projects and discuss matters relating to the conservation of Pakistan's cultural heritage. During the meeting, the Minister reviewed the status of ongoing departmental projects and directed the concerned officials to ensure their timely completion. Honorable Minister desired that Islamabad Corner may be developed in Islamabad museum to reflect cultural trail of this region and different stages of developments in Islamabad since it declaration as Capital of Pakistan. The Minister also emphasized the adoption of new initiatives to strengthen heritage conservation, documentation, and the promotion of Pakistan's rich archaeological legacy.
